Hidden text version of CommandLine

What would you like added to the program?

Hidden text version of CommandLine

Postby TiSiViX on Tue Dec 08, 2009 11:14 am

I started using CommandLine to log into both of my wow accounts at once, and it works perfectly, but I have a minor security concern I have. When using CommandLine, both the dialog box and the HKN window show what is typed in plain text, and if I step away from the computer for a moment, the HKN window can be scrolled up to see my password. I get to play a lot at work but have to swap windows a lot, step away frequently, and have people walking by a lot who can look over my shoulder. Can we have a version of the CommandLine function, such as HiddenCommandLine, that shows **** instead of typed characters in both the HKN window and dialog box please?

I'm sorry but I'm pretty much finished with HotkeyNet. I'm working now on Mojo.

http://www.mojoware.org

I'll keep this suggestion in mind for Mojo.

oooooooh *drools* I'll be excited to see how that turns out. Sorry to see you're leaving the HKN project, I only just started getting back on the forums a couple days ago and haven't gotten all the way caught up :(

We all absolutely love HKN in my area, thanks for the tons of time and effort you've put into it!

Thanks for the kind words.

I'm not exactly leaving HotkeyNet. I'm working on the next version of it. I changed the name to Mojo but you can think of it as HotkeyNet 2. It wil be better in every way than the old HotkeyNet.

I hope the GUI-click version of HKN will stay as flexible as HKN 1 is :)
<3 the possibilities of HKN1

(would like nested IF-cases though, would make things more easy :)

Superb work you are doing Freddy!!

Thanks a lot for the kind words. Mojo was planned to be more flexible and more powerful than HKN 1. It was going to have the script language from HKN 2 which is a real programming language. There are no limitations on nesting in that language. But I haven't worked on Mojo in a few months and I'm not sure if I'll start again. I think maybe I've lost interest in multiboxing software.

You took a long break during the development of Hotkeynet then came back with a roar. I know you don't like the structure of code in HKN but it sure is fun to work with. I hope your break from Mojo will end with renewed interest in continuing the project.
...or something like that. :)
