Hi, been using HKN for a while now. Was wondering if it would be possible to add XBOX 360 Controller Emulation.

Do you mean that you want to press keys on a keyboard and have a game think it's receiving commands from an Xbox 360 controller?

Are you thinking that you'll be able to take a version of a game meant for the Xbox, install it on a PC, and play it on the PC?

Yes, this is what I meant.

Some games that support local co-op require the second, third and fourth players use an Xbox Controller to play.

I still don't understand. Is the game designed to run on Windows, and does it expect you to have a hardware XBox controller plugged into the PC?

Yes, the game is on Windows. The game does not require a controller to be plugged in at all for Player 1.

Player 2, 3, 4 require a controller to play

XInput is used to emulate the Xbox controller

HotkeyNet cannot be used to provide input to a game which expects to receive input via the XInput API.

Maybe I should mention the game uses Unreal Engine 3

If your game takes its input from the XInput API, that's a characteristic of the game, not a method used by HotkeyNet. If that's the case, HotkeyNet cannot provide input to the game.

I have no idea to be honest

I just know that players that didn't have Xbox controllers were using XInput DLLs to emulate the Xbox 360 Controller keys on the keyboard to play multiple characters
